Next Tending, TBA

During times of disruptive events or when addressing historical patterns of trauma, gathering in community with the shared intention of tending to these issues can be a powerful and effective way to actively express caring and compassion, to support rebalancing and greater harmony.

In this process, we will do a practice to bring us to a place of neutrality, from where we will do a guided drum journey to learn how we may each individually support rebalance and how we can tend to this issue. Afterwards, you are invited to share your insights with the group if you wish. The group sharing will not be recorded to allow all to have their privacy respected.

A recording of the tending will be shared on this page afterwards. The sharing portion of the live event is not included in the recording.

Tending topics are shared near the live event, so we can focus on whatever issues is most prevalent at that time.

If you have a request for a future tending, please connect with me.

Shamanism Without Borders is a global response network of shamanic practitioners who tend to collective patterns and traumatic events around the world, including natural disasters, acts of terrorism, war, pollution, and anything that causes disruption and suffering to humanity, to the animal and plant life, and the earth’s delicate bio-system.

More information about Shamanism Without Borders can be found at the Society for Shamanic Practice.

To prepare -

Create a sacred, ceremonial space in a quiet place where you will not be disturbed, and can be physically comfortable and fully present, as this is an active process.

If you wish, make a small altar or light a candle. You are also invited to drum or rattle along as you journey (while muted.) This can be a wonderful way to connect more deeply.

Typically, tending circles last about an hour.

All are welcome. No prior experience in shamanic or journey work is necessary, as you will be guided through the process.
