 I’m a natural nurturer. Part song-bird, part wise-woman.

A tree-hugging, earth-mama-bear.

A guide for your Awoken Spirit.

I provide nurturing and guidance for you along your path to sweet harmony, inner clarity, and true power, for I know you are here for a vibrant life, rich in connection, wonder, and joy.

What I do…

I lovingly guide you in remembering who you truly are, reclaiming your deep joy, and reawakening your innate essence connection.

I offer this to you because being awake is a sweet, joyous and powerful experience.

And once you have awoken, you wish for others to be awake, and to be in full expression of their own exuberant power too.

Where I started…

I had a mother who read to me. I had a father who sang to me. I was fortunate to grow up in house full of books and children, where stories and songs where treasured and shared.

And even though I grew up in a large city, I was lucky to have a yard where I could play – with my brothers and sisters, with our cats and dogs. Play house, play chase, play kings and queens, play pretend. Pick flowers, sing songs, climb trees, splash in puddles. Lay in the grass, gaze at the clouds, listen to the birds, and even eat plums off the old plum tree. I explored my surroundings with curiosity and trust.

I felt safe. I felt peace. I felt loved. I felt happy.

Where I went…

Where I went…

As I got older I would go on adventures. To swim in seas, lakes, rivers, creeks, and quarries. To traverse oceans, forests, deserts, canyons, plains, and mountains. I loved these new landscapes, and greeted these journeys with awe and delight.

Not so very long after, I became a mother. This experience too, I greeted with wonder, joy, and a full heart. I thought of my own nurturing childhood, of how sweet it was to play and learn and grow.

I wanted my daughter to have this kind of sweetness too, then wanted the same for my second daughter, and also for my son. I wanted for my children the same kind of joy and connection and wonder I remembered having. And I wanted these things to be with them all the time. A little warm fuzzy to keep tucked away in a pocket. Something they could touch and hold whenever they needed a little extra love, a little extra kindness, a little extra trust.

So we took walks in the park and on trails. We dug in the dirt and planted gardens. We watched the moon rise and smelled blossoms. Saw shapes in the clouds and listened to the songs in the wind. Danced in the rain and basked in the sunshine. We drove our car to the woods to sleep in tents and cook with fire. We read lots of books, and heard stories of heroes and heroines, castles and conundrums, of far away places and of how things worked. We talked about being kind and polite and loving all people. We sang and laughed every day.

But even so, I felt like there was something I had forgotten to share.

Something else I needed to give them.

I didn’t forget that the earth provides us with everything we need. So I bought natural, sustainable, biodegradable, fair trade, and local, and cooked and fed their bodies with food that was whole, natural, organic. We had good herbs and plant remedies. I had a wonderful big career with a wonderful big grocery store devoted to helping lots of other people find and choose things that would help them be healthy and whole and natural too.

But even with all those things and I still hadn’t found the warm fuzzy.

I didn’t have the words, I didn’t have the tools, and somewhere along the way of school and bills and cars and dishes and labels, I had forgotten who I really was.

I had forgotten that I was a child of the Earth, and that she always held me.

I had forgotten that I was a child of the Sky, and that he always looked over me.

I had forgotten that all life, all people are connected.

I had forgotten where I was really from.

I had forgotten about my true essence, who I really was.

And because I forgot, I forgot how to teach my children these things, and instead worried about being late for an appointment right before thing we must do after the other busy thing.

I had become so occupied with filling our lives with things, I had forgotten the most important thing of all.

I had forgotten how to remember who I am.

How I came home…

But I was still lucky. I was lucky to find people who did remember. And they taught me how to remember. And they introduced me to wisdom keepers. And they taught me how to remember even more and once I remembered, they taught me how to stay awake.

And in those teachings, in that reawakening, I remembered how to come home.

And when I did find my way back home, to my true self, I was able to be embraced by my true self, and in that reunion, I came back to my true power.
